Here's just a little background on your hosts, Bobby Barker and Tim Ostendorf:
Bobby's family (originally from Boston) has been coming to The Mount Washington Valley for many years (in the 1950's, his mother used to take the snow train up from Boston for a day at Mt. Cranmore!). And although Tim - originally from Connecticut - had only made a few prerequisite childhood trips to New Hampshire, he, too had fond White Mountain memories. In fact, Bobby and Tim loved New Hampshire so much that in the fall of 1998, they  purchased a vacation cottage in Conway. They enjoyed many happy weekends away from Boston and quickly realized that they wanted New Hampshire to be their permanent home. In the summer of 2001, they followed their dream and made the Inn at Crystal Lake their home. They greatly enjoy sharing this lovely landmark building and their many interests with their guests. For example, both Bobby and Tim have backgrounds in theater and musical arts (Tim received his Bachelor's Degree in Voice Performance from Boston University's College of Fine Arts), as well many other hobbies: gardening, baking, canoeing, antiquing... Come and share some of your interests and spend some time with them at the Inn at Crystal Lake! And in case you're wondering, if you enlarge the picture above, you'll see Bobby and Tim on the right and their friends Carol Noonan and Lisa Saffer performing at the Stone Mountain Arts Center. Around the Arts Center, Bobby and Tim have become known as "The Swells". If you haven't been there yet for a show, you're missing out!

My name is Roz and I was adopted through the Conway Area Humane Society.  I am just as friendly as my brother Pumpkin (we both get along really well!). Unfortunately, this is an old picture and I've gotten quite a bit larger (actually... I'm FAT!). My other favorite place is the Harvest Hills Animal Shelter in Fryeburg, Maine.

 

My name is Monty - the superstar dog (guests love when I come for a visit in the pub - I may be cute... but please don't feed me!). I am very playful and have LOTS of energy - it took a while for my brother, Pumpkin and sister, Roz to get used to me... well - maybe they still aren't used to me, but at least they tolerate me! Please come visit us at the Inn at Crystal Lake.
